Beauty and the Silent Beast

"Beauty and the Beast" is the famous animation film.　

The original long story was written by French novelist, Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve.

Later, the shorter version was rewritten by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont.

And this is the origin of the story which we know today.

In this app, I changed the story dynamically based on the story written by Beaumont.

I hope you enjoy the story in the special version.

It depends on the player, if the Beast changes back to what he was, the Prince.

There was a merchant who had 3 sons and 3 daughters.

His 3 daughters were all very beautiful. They were proposed to by many men.

His elder 2 daughters took time to consider these proposals. But his youngest daughter Belle, who loved to read books, didn't care about men. People said, "she is beautiful, but weird".

The merchant's family had a wealthy life. However, one day, the ship loaded with products disappeared. Since then, their life completely changed.

After a little while, when they started getting used to their poor life, the merchant received news that the missing ship had been found. The merchant decided to go to get his property back.

The elder 2 daughters were happy that they would regain their wealthy life. They asked their father to bring jewels and precious stones.

Meanwhile, the wise and beautiful youngest daughter asked him to come back safely and to bring a rose.

(Omission)

"I accepted you to my palace and saved your life. But you stole my rose which was more precious to me than my life. You are ungrateful. You should repay me with your life."

The merchant immediately said sorry and begged his life and explained that it was just to please his daughter.

The Beast told him to sacrifice his life, or give his daughter.

The merchant went home and held his beloved family tight. And then he began to tell them what had happened to him.

He said to them that if his family was protected by his sacrifice, he would be happy.

The youngest daughter felt guilty because she had asked for a rose.

The youngest daughter said,

"I will go to the Beast's palace. I have an idea."

The terrifying Beast might eat me.

Or I might lose my virginity.

My life from now on might be as a slave…

But I do not want to lose against him.

I will let him fall in love with me.

I can definitely have mental superiority over him.

Belle was thinking if he loves her, he won't do something bad to her.

Y este es el origen de la historia que hoy conocemos.

En esta aplicación, cambié la historia de forma dinámica basada en la historia escrita por Beaumont.

 Había un mercader que tenía 3 hijos y 3 hijas.

Sus 3 hijas eran todas muy hermosas. Fueron propuestos por muchos hombres.

Sus dos hijas mayores se tomaron el tiempo para considerar estas propuestas. Pero a su hija menor, Belle, a quien le encantaba leer libros, no le importaban los hombres. La gente dijo, "ella es hermosa, pero rara".

La familia del comerciante tenía una vida rica. Sin embargo, un día, el barco cargado de productos desapareció. Desde entonces, su vida cambió por completo.

Al cabo de un rato, cuando empezaron a acostumbrarse a su pobre vida, el comerciante recibió noticias de que se había encontrado el barco perdido. El comerciante decidió ir a recuperar su propiedad.

Las dos hijas mayores estaban felices de recuperar su vida rica. Le pidieron a su padre que trajera joyas y piedras preciosas.

Mientras tanto, la sabia y hermosa hija más joven le pidió que regresara a salvo y trajera una rosa.

"Te acepté en mi palacio y salvé tu vida. Pero robaste mi rosa, que era más preciosa para mí que mi vida. Eres ingrata. Deberías pagarme con tu vida".

El comerciante inmediatamente se disculpó y le rogó por su vida y le explicó que solo era para complacer a su hija.

La Bestia le dijo que sacrificara su vida, o que diera a su hija.

 El comerciante fue a su casa y mantuvo a su amada familia con fuerza. Y luego comenzó a contarles lo que le había sucedido.

Les dijo que si su familia estaba protegida por su sacrificio, él sería feliz.

La hija más joven se sintió culpable porque había pedido una rosa.

La hija más joven dijo:

"Iré al palacio de la Bestia. Tengo una idea".

 La bestia aterradora podría comerme.

O podría perder mi virginidad.

Mi vida de ahora en adelante podría ser como un esclavo ...

Pero no quiero perder contra él.

Voy a dejar que se enamore de mi.

Definitivamente puedo tener superioridad mental sobre él.

Belle estaba pensando que si él la ama, no le hará nada malo.
